Ephemera
Here's my submission for the 2023 Gamedev.js Jam. This was made during finals season so I wasn't able to work on it as much as I wanted to, but I'm still proud of what I was able to create. There are only 4 levels, but the later ones are quite difficult so hopefully you'll enjoy the challenge (I promise they're all beatable, it just takes some thinking).
Controls:
WASD: Pan camera
Q/E: Zoom out/in
R: Reset camera position and zoom
Note that these controls are optional and the entire game can be played with only a mouse. Touchscreen should work as well, but I haven't tested that so expect some bugs to pop up.
Theme:
Each turn lasts for a limited TIME before your units despawn. I wanted to do some more stuff with this theme originally but couldn't find the TIME.

My code is open source but the internals are ugly since being able to quickly push out a working prototype was more important than good software design or process.

I like the games concept. I enjoyed it.
I wished the sounds would have more feedback. Also, the music … yeah… it’s a loop. I wanted it to be more dynamic with changes. Maybe something more space/war-ish. I don’t know. Great job!
